Wallenberg Academy Fellows Visit the Collegium

As part of their network meeting, a group of Wallenberg Academy Fellows visited SCAS on Thursday,
21 March. The aim of the visit was not only to learn more about the Swedish Collegium and its work,
but also to discuss the role of institutes for advanced study and how fellowships may affect a researcher's
career, research trajectory and opportunities to network building etc. SCAS Principal Christina Garsten
and some of the current SCAS Fellows participated in the session.

Launched in 2012 by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation, the ‘Wallenberg Academy Fellows’ is
a career programme for young researchers. It provides long-term funding for promising Swedish and
foreign researchers from all academic fields.
